There are so many different henna powders out there, how do we choose the one that will work best for us?
There are a few things to consider while choosing any henna powder :
Fresh : You should always buy fresh henna powder. If you want a great stain, don’t just grab henna off the shelf (because who knows how long it’ll be sitting there). Even from harvest to harvest you’ll see the freshest henna powder. Gives best stain results. After all, doesn’t a chef use the freshest ingredients in our food preparation?
Body art quality : This means that henna powder is the best quality because they take the leaves from the top of the plant with the highest dye content. This also means that it is 100% pure and natural. This term is commonly used to describe henna which is also used for body art.
Finely sieved : None of that dirt, grit, sand, nor sticks help to get a great smudging henna paste. Even if you try to sieve it yourself, you will lose most of the henna powder you buy.
Pure : There should be no pesticides or chemicals. No PPD nor any other powder or material. Get only 100% pure henna powder.
